Here's a song that has a great message for single adults. I think we can ask ourselves if others see Jesus in us?!

"He came home from work last night to find that she is gone:
Now he's spending his first Sunday(Sabbath) sitting in the pew alone.
There are whispers all around him, his heart breaks in two
He's wondering who will reach out and help him make it through.
Who will be Jesus to him?
Who'll show the love that restores him again?
He doesn't need a judge, he needs a friend.
Who will be Jesus to him?

2. She has a reputation like the woman at the well:
the only love she ever knew was the kind she buys and sells.
But her thirsty heart is searching for a love that will be true.
The Saviour cries for her to see Himself in me and you.
Who will be Jesus to her?
Who'll show the love that's commanded in His Word?
Will she see in us the mighty God we serve
Who will be Jesus to her?

Wounded people everywhere
and when they look at us do they see Jesus there?
Who will be Jesus to them?
Who'll show the love that's commanded in His Word?
Though they do not need a judge, they need a friend
Who will be Jesus to them?"

Next week I'll be singing this song in a church that is studying/presenting Friendship Evangelism and to fit with the theme I changed the 2nd verse to be more inclusive of all people.

2. They had the reputation as the best fam'ly in town.
And now they sit alone and watch as their kids are run'in round.
And their thirsty hearts are thirsting for a love that will not end.
The Saviour cries for them to see Himself in me and you.
Who will be Jesus to them?
Who'll show the love that will point them to Him?
No, they do not need a judge, they need some friends.
Who will be Jesus to them?
People searching everywhere, and when they look at us do they
see Jesus there?
Who will be Jesus to them? Who'll show the love that will point
them to Him.
No, they do not need a judge they need some friends.
Who will be Jesus to them?
Who will be Jesus to them.

By the way this song was written by Bruce Carroll and Aaron Wilburn. It was a real surprise to see that Aaron helped to compose and write this song because you will find Aaron doing comedy in the Health and Humour Section of this forum.........

YES this song has a very good message to us who
claim to be christians.

the only sermon some people will see is only our lifes.
how do people really see us?????

It would be very nice if they saw us as being Children of Jesus. When I look around at my Christian brothers and sisters you can tell that some have been with Jesus and some haven't. Is that being judgemental? I really don't think so.....some you can just tell by how they act.
DARLENE

WE can judge people by their actions.
and what is that old saying " actions speak louder than words"

plus you have heard that a person has an inter-beauty
about them. I think the inter-beauty is the holy sprit shining out.
