These special interest groups can be an excellent way for you to attract nonChristian singles in your community as well as provide an fraework in which relationships can grow. Here's a brief list of several groups you may want to consider starting in your ministry:

- single parents of young children
- People beginning new or different careers
- the unemployed
- writers
- backpackers
- painters
- bicycle enthusiasts
- antique collectors
- scuba divers

All you need is two or more people who share an interest and have the energy to start a group. To begin, find the most popular special interests in your group or community, then allow these special interest groups to serve as a bridge to ministry.
