This weekend was definetly a blessed weekend of work. On Sabbath, I presented the children's story, the sermon and an afternoon workshop in one of our Metro Vancouver churches. Now that was a blessed work day and in the afternoon my brother came from the Portland, OR area to help me install a backsplash in my kitchen (Sunday), he also helped with several other small items. So........this weekend definetly was a blessed weekend of work! Now God does give us some of those kinds of weekends and then we're happy to have the work week come so we can live normal lives.

This morning while at work it was hard to keep my eyes open. But I did survive the day and will get to bed early tonight. For some reason I need to catch up on shut-eye.

I have now had a good nights sleep and a blessed week of work. Infact I've had more than a blessed week of work. We're getting ready for another church consult next weekend so that means the workload is a very heavy one this week. But.....what would we do without work. Life would be quite meaningless. I'm looking forward to this weekend of rest.
