This past Thursday (May 1), my team and I travelled to Smithers, BC, a place known as 'Little Switzerland." What a gorgeous place!

We went to carry out a church consult. A church consult is when a team of 6 or seven pastors and laypeople observe a church and write a report sharing things they like and recommend things that could be better. We also use the Natural Church Development questionnaire as a portion of the consult.

It was great and if you ever get a chance to go to Smithers you will be very happy you did.

We arrived back this afternoon and tomorrow I leave for Europe on a 'finding your roots' expedition with a couple of sisters. Well...we can call it that!

We did arrive back at the BC Conference office safely and today I send you greetings from Germany. We will be returning home on May 21 but, will come to the forum from time to time before then. I wish to all a very happy Sabbath Day!
