Dear Single Friends:
This message is a reminder that the Camp MiVoden National Singles Camp will be taking place starting on Monday, August 25 through September 1 this year and I hope you will be able to join us. Reservations are coming in daily. I will have to admit I have been a bit concerned about how the price of gas and air fares would affect the group coming this year, but it appears we are going to have a great group. The total cost of $320 for the week including food. lodging and activities is probably one of the best vacation values available anywhere and it is in a fantastic location!
If you haven't made your airline reservations into Spokane yet, I suggest you do so as soon as possible. We will be doing airport pickups on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. Return airport runs are Sunday and Monday and we hope you are able to book your flights after 8:00 a.m., particularly if you are leaving on Sunday. The cost for round-trip airport transportation is just $30, which is extremely reasonable for the distance.
If you haven't chosen an airline yet, please keep in mind that Southwest and ExpressJet have many flights into Spokane and both offer great fares plus excellent service without extra baggage fees etc.
The brochure is out on the website site at
http://www.mivoden.com and then select National Singles Camp. Please remember there is an extra page you need to sign on the back of the registration form. If you would like a printed brochure for yourself or to share with someone, please let me know and I will mail them to you. Also, perhaps you would like to make the brochures available to someone in your church or at your camp meeting this summer. Just let me know how many brochures you need.
If you are unable to attend camp for the entire week, we still welcome you provided you make advance reservations. The cost is $55 per day or $165 for the three-day Labor Day weekend.
Just a word of clarification about a statement on the brochure. At the bottom of the registration form, it states to send full payment to Camp MiVoden. This should read send full payment made payable to Camp MiVoden. The payment and reservation form for camp as well as airport transportation needs all need to come directly to me at the address on the brochure. Early in August I will confirm all camp and transportation reservations.
