Single Adults enjoy being with other singles. If your church has a small group, consider cooperating with several other churches in your area by sponsoring a once-a-month (or once-a-week) event. You could call it "Friday Night Singles." (or what ever day you choose) Several churches have done this.
When one church seems to be running the whole show, some pastors may be less interested in encouraging their singles to attend.
Provide people with name tags as they arrive to facilitate introductions and conversation. Some of the activities to consider include: volleyball, Ping-Pong, videos, pizza nights, concerts, and hay rides, with refreshments served each time. Activities might vary with the season. In addition, you can have a time of singing and worship along with a short devotional.
This provides a great place to meet other Adventist singles and to develop new friendships.
