Just outside my office window are 4-5 very large maple trees. It's a beautiful view. Well.....in these maples live squirrels. I think there are 4-5 large ones and four little black and four little grey babies. They are so cute! I've been feeding them and do they ever eat! Well, they really don't eat that much but they dig little holes all over and bury the nuts/sunflower seeds. They work all day doing that and I spend a lot of $ buying what they bury. That's why I'm going broke. Watching them though is well worth the $.
The problem comes when some in the office call them rats. Another problem came day when one got in the window and crawled up on our Vice President for Administration's desk and was eathing his chocolates in his candy jar. Fortunately someone scared him back out the window. Now they open the other office window and they can't get in that one.
So....whether they are squirrels or rats, they still are very cute and it is a joy to watch how God made in these cute little creatures!
