Dear Friend of Adventist Single Adult Ministries
British Columbia Camp Meeting 2008 is now only four weeks away and we wanted to contact you to let you know what will be happening in the Adventist Single Adult Ministries Program this year. It is very encouraging to each single adult on the campgrounds to have good participation, so hopefully you can put these events in your schedule. Together we will make a difference!
I am attaching a short newsletter giving our camp meeting program schedule, information on the upcoming Thanksgiving Retreat, and other information pertaining to Adventist Single Adult Ministries. It is in PDF format. If you have difficulty opening it, please let us know.
One last item of information about camp meeting that you will need to know is our fellowship potluck menu. The BC Conference Adventist Single Adult Advisory Committee members provide one main dish (just incase not enough food is brought to the potluck) while others provide the remainder of the food. Please remember to being enough food for yourself and two - three others.
Saturday, July 26
1:00 p.m. fellowship potluck lunch
Regular meal -
Macaroni and cheese/juice provided)
Singles are asked to bring - entres, salads, breads, dessert
5:30 p.m. potluck supper
Fruit Salad and sweet breads -
Fruit Salad - fruit cocktail – base for fruit salad and 4-5 sweet breads provided
Singles are asked to bring different kinds of fruit to add to salad, sweet breads
Saturday, August 2
1:00 p.m. fellowship potluck lunch
Haystacks -
Chilli for haystacks/juice provided
Singles are asked to bring lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, pickles,
Chips, grated cheeses, etc. and desserts
5:30 p.m. potluck supper
Sandwich Bar –
Buns/breads – some sliced veggie meats are provided
Singles are to bring sandwich fillings, sliced lettuce, tomatoes, etc. and desserts
We sure hope you will join in our program activities if you come to our British Columbia Camp Meeting. Each one of you are very special to this Ministry and to our very best Friend Jesus.

And next Sunday, July 6, our ASAM Committee members will be scrubbing and sealing our tent. Something we do every 5 years. What a job! Since the tent is so large it's an all-day event. Pray for us!
