ASM August Family Campout Weekend - Buffalo Lake Recreation Area

Located 21 km north of Stettler on Hwy. 56,
then 7 km west on Township Road 412 to Boss Hill and
follow signs to Recreation Area.

Rustic camping at its finest, this campground is an ideal place to meet friends & family and camp in a random setting; excellent opportunities to participate in water-based activities and to enjoy numerous waterfowl and shorebirds.

Price for the weekend:

$17.50 per night unless the camper chooses to share a unit with other camper/s and then that cost would be $17.50/night / # of sleepers in unit * # of nights sleepers will be staying in unit.
There will also be a $10.00 charge/person for incidentals and Hot Dogs Sunday evening.

Food: Campers will be expected to supply all of there food and water needs ( if campers do not bring water they will be expected to boil there own water). Sunday night ASM to provide hot dogs.

Campers must have their own dishes, cutlery, a stove or cooking unit unless they plan on using the stove in the camp kitchen, you will need your own firewood to do this. Something to wash dishes in, towel and dish soap.

Firewood - usually on sale at office $6.00+, we would appreciate if some people could bring some on their own to help out.

Friday: a meet and greet informal evening planned.

Sabbath: informal Sabbath School/Church service; music with ASM song books, looking for someone to bring an instrument, if not we can sing with out an instrument and make a
joyful sound. There will be a sabbath evening worship.

Sunday - Morning worship, hiking, swimming activities followed by Hot Dogs around 6ish.

Monday - Morning worship followed by ASM Meeting, then packing up with warm fuzzies for all!

I highly recommend people bring sleeping bags, towels, swim suits, sun tan lotion, bug spray, personal hygiene items, Bible & quarterly, a good reading book, camp chair, flash lights, water toys, table games and a combination of light and heavier clothing for the cool evenings.

Be prepared to swim, hike, sing and have good fellowship.

Things to leave at home: Work and anything that might hamper your ability to get some rest and relaxation or inhibit your ability to fellowship with others.

Let us know if you plan to attend - 403-782-4861, no answer, leave a message!
Looking forward to seeing and sharing the fellowship with you.

Will be at Site # 27 & #28 - reservation as Debra Pelletier & ASM
