Should you write 'ask for ID' instead of signing your credit card? Do you really need to 'activate' your card? What you don't know could hurt you.

I learned some things I had never known before. Thanks for the info!
I thought it was a good article too, because there are things in it that I didn't know also.

One of the rules I use for myself is that I stick to only one credit card and only buy things I need when I need them. Is that a good rule to follow? I'm currently paying off my credit card totally and will only use it when I need to fot such things as airlines reservation, etc. which my work will reimburse before the end of a month. I certainly don't like debt (other than a mortgage).
