This is an absolutely amazing movie that depicts the little-known and hardly told story of the women who worked so hard to gain the right to vote in the U. S.

These women were hurled into prison, beaten, mistreated; some were put on trial in an effort to declare them insane so they could be permanently institutionalized.

The movie orginally came out on HBO (Home Box Office) but it can be bought at Amazon.com. It's a true history lesson and one that should never be forgotten so women appreciate at what expense our liberties were acquired.

this sounds like a good movie to watch.
yes so many of the young people of today(30 and under)
do not understand all the things people had to
go through to get the freedoms that we have today.
all though little by little the freedoms are being
taken away from us.

Neat! Sounds like a good one to watch. I'll have to look for it. So often we little value the freedoms that we have. Too soon we will be loosing them.
