Tonight I've been working on an old stamp collection that I bought today. Actually I bought the binder which had quite a number of old stamps in it. Wanted to buy a new binder but, the man selling them thought they were too expensive so offered a couple old ones to us.

A number of years ago when I was teaching grade 5 & 6 I had a number of collections, coins, stamps, birds, etc., because this age like collecting things. After moving on from teaching I gave my stamp collection to one of my nieces and just got it back this month. Have lots of stamps to go through and organize.

Stamping is great fun but, tedious. I'm actually looking forward to it!

Here are some websites about stamp collecting:

I have a small hobby of asking for postcards from any of my friends who travel. They usually have wonderful scenery, I get to remember my friends who sent them to me, and I've collected stamps from all over the world at the same time. You're right Darlene; it is a lot of fun Smile
You're smart 1stborn! I need to give postcards to my friends/relatives so I get more stamps. Actually several of my family are overseas; Mozambique, Cambodia, Zambia, Uganda and Afghanistan. Maybe, if I would write to them I'd get something in return. Cool
Oh, my! I think my stamp collection is going to take years to get in order. I've been working on it, but haven't made much progress. My vacation is coming up next month maybe, just maybe I'll get more done then.
